Sol Kadhi


  • Fresh Coconut: 1 cup
  • Kokam: 5-6 pieces
  • garlic cloves: 1-2
  • Green Chilli: 1
  • Coriander leaves: for garnish
  • Salt: as per taste


Soak kokam in hot/cold water for 30 mins. Alternatively you can boil the kokam for 5-10 mins and cool down.

Grind coconut, green chilli and garlic to fine paste with 1/2 cup of water. strain the coconut mixture in the strainer or white muslin cloth and extract the milk from coconut.

Add water in the coconut residue and extract milk.You will get thin coconut milk.

Strain the kokam water and add in the coconut milk.IMG_20170713_120752

Serve chilled.
